Material Testing
The Construction Material Division provides comprehensive physical and mechanical testing services for a wide range of materials used in the construction and allied industries. All testing is conducted in accordance with recognized international standards and specifications, including BS, ASTM, BS EN, AASHTO, CIRIA, DIN, ISO, and other applicable codes. Where required, testing can also be performed in accordance with client-specified methods or project-specific procedures. The core services of the Materials Division include laboratory and field testing of Soil, Aggregates & Rock, Concrete, Steel and Steel Products, Asphalt, Cement, Water, Geosynthetics, and other construction materials. Our laboratories are fully equipped with modern instrumentation and are operated by experienced professionals to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with project requirements. With decades of industry experience, the laboratory is also capable of establishing on-site material testing laboratories tailored to the needs of clients, consultants, and contractors. These facilities may range from basic site-testing setups to fully equipped project-dedicated laboratories, enabling stakeholders direct access to testing activities and full transparency throughout the testing process. Capital Survey additionally undertakes concrete investigation and condition assessment services using both destructive and non-destructive testing techniques. These investigations help consultants and engineers identify potential deficiencies, durability concerns, or structural vulnerabilities that may affect the performance and safety of existing concrete structures. Beyond routine testing, the laboratory offers a range of specialized and advanced services, including but not limited to continuous concrete temperature monitoring, pull-off and pull-out testing, tile and epoxy testing, manhole load testing, and fresh concrete performance testing.
